    CDMP Pay If You Pass (PIYP) Exam

    Registration at 9AM and Breakfast will be provided

    Get Certified in Data Management in Kansas City!  

    Join us in Kansas City for an opportunity to get your Certified Data Management Professional designation during a Pay If You Pass (PIYP) event.

    This event allows the exam taker to sign up and pay nothing initially! After the exam is completed, if the exam taker passes, they will then be prompted to pay $300.  If they don’t pass, no worries – just learn and take the exam at another time.

    Note: After emailing RSVP@kcdama.org to RSVP, you will receive a link to register for the PIYP exam.

    THIS IS AN IN-PERSON ONLY EVENT.  You must register by February 27, 2025 by emailing RSVP@kcdama.org.  Everyone who participates must register individually.  WE WILL NOT ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS AFTER FEBRUARY 27 OR ACCEPT DAY OF WALK-INS.  To learn more please visit our website at https://kcdama.org/.

        • The Data Management Fundamentals Exam
          • 100 Multiple-Choice
          • 90 Minute Duration
          • 14 DMBoK Knowledge Areas

        Note: If you already have your CDMP and want to take a specialty exam – please indicate that at the time of RSVP and registration.  We’d love to have you take a specialty exam using the PIYP option with us!  ONLY ONE EXAM A PERSON MAY BE TAKEN AT THIS EVENT.

      How should I prepare?

      • Review of the CDMP Academic Integrity Policy
      • Review the CDMP Exam Conditions and Guidelines

      • Review materials from our “Get CDMP-Ready in Just One Day” event in November
        • Let us know if you’ve lost your copy
      • Take the practice exam provided by DAMA-I provided 7 days prior to exam

      What do I need to bring?

      • A photo ID
      • Your laptop
      • Your DMBOK or notes you wish to use for the exam
        • Note: if you use digital notes, they may NOT be on the same device as you are taking the exam, and it may NOT be your cell phone
